State of the Accutrac
To say it’s a busy time at Petit… well, it simply wouldn’t do justice to all the hard work being put in by our staff. If you haven’t heard by now, we’ve been growing rapidly. Here are some of the reasons we’ve been growing so fast:
The Resounding Success of our Clients
With testimonials coming in describing 20,000 to 40,000 cars washed per-bay per-year from our In-Bay Automatic being normal around here, to the abnormal few clients that are washing over 50,000 cars per-bay per-year, our client’s success is starting to be the worst kept secret in car washing.
Online Forums & Social Media
We’re in the age of influence and transparency. While influence doesn’t always lead to truth, transparency certainly helps. With owners having easy access to other owners, honest communication about our machines has spread. If there’s anything we’re most grateful for, it’s this new age of open communication. We appreciate all of you who are spreading the word; our whole Petit Community is getting stronger and developing because of it. Thank you!
Our Staff
As anyone in business can testify, 2020 wasn’t the easiest year. Not only did we have to deal with restrictions, but we had to deal with restrictions in staff while growing substantially. We can’t say enough about the flexibility of our hard working staff. No matter the challenge, they buckled down and got it done.
Thankful & Growing
Thanks to the success of our customers, we keep selling more machines and are growing rapidly. We wouldn’t want it any other way. In the beginning of May, we broke ground on our new 52,000 sq ft facility.
The new Petit site resides on 8 acres and will have ground work and retention basin pre-prepped for even further expansion if needed. This new site will include a conference room, large lunchroom that will double as a training room, and most importantly, more assembly and manufacturing space that is now needed due to our growth.
We are very excited for this transition and plan to be in the building by the end of 2021!

Trade Show
We will be attending the SouthWest Car Wash Show Tuesday June 8th - Friday June 11th. We were able to obtain a humble last minute booth (Number: 935) on the side boundary of the exhibitor center. Please drop by to say hi and spread the word!
Pricing
No surprise to anyone reading this, raw materials, shipping, and labor prices have gone up significantly. We are doing everything in our power to mitigate this, however, if prices don’t stabilize very soon, we will have to make the tough decision and adjust equipment pricing mid- year to compensate (this will not affect current orders), expect larger than average price increases next year as well if things don’t settle. This is the last thing we want to inform you of, however we feel it is a responsibility as business owners ourselves to help you strategize as accurately as possible with the reality of what’s going on for all of us.
New Patent
We’ve officially been rewarded our 5th Patent here at Petit Wash Equipment. Innovation is part of our DNA here at Petit’s, we feel that if we’re not moving forward with technology or continual improvement, then we’re not moving.
