Anticipation, this would be the word that would best describe our current mood and feelings. As of this writing, we are currently moved into our new facility. While we still have much organizing to do, we’re very excited and ready to be able to operate in a much more efficient manner, as we’ve been very cramped at our old facility for over a year.
Anticipation also describes our excitement for improvements, tweaks, and innovations coming soon. We’ve been so busy with our growth and designing our new building, that our mouths are watering to get back to what we do best: Innovating speed, reliability, simplicity, and modularity to our machines, which has always been at the forefront of our success. The continual improvement of our machine and business is what drives us.
As always, thank you for being part of the Petit family. From the largest purchases to the smallest tweets of testimonials, we appreciate you being a part of the exclusive club of car washing, the club where compromising value, reliability, and performance is not an option.
Thank you again.
BEFORE & AFTER: Our old small assembly and pump station room and Petit's new receiving, small assembly, large assembly, and testing
“Often those that criticize others, reveal what he himself lacks.” We’ve heard this before, but for some reason there has been a surge of rumors that we use Hydrofluoric Acid or other highly corrosive chemicals in our wash. This is false, on many levels.
When you hear the numbers of what our clients are washing, we know these clients and what chemicals they are using. Our clients washing 30k+ 40k+ and 55k+ cars per year, per bay, are using the same off the shelf chemicals that all of you are already using.
Synergy, Quest, Simonize, Blendco, Shore, etc. Unlike many years ago, these days there is no shortage of quality chemicals that can get the job done. We do plenty of chemical testing here at Petit’s, something we don’t talk about, but put much effort into. The reality is, in our own washes we use Alkaline only passes and don’t even use acids. Now this is a regional situation and we understand that some (and many of our clients do) use high to low passes, the other way around and everything in between. Most wash owners (and distributors) have their own “recipe.” But in no way do we promote using HF or anything similar in harshness.
You’ll hear us say on the phone and at trade shows: “don’t take our word for it, go talk to an owner that actually has a machine.” We stick to this statement, and our real world reputation is how we have built this business. If someone is telling you differently, use your own judgment, but in the meantime, find actual owners to put these rumors to bed.
BEFORE & AFTER: Our old shipping and receiving room and Petit's new shipping and receiving.
Are you ready for The Car Wash Show? We are and we're looking forward to Nashville! We will be at booth #235.
Will we have a whole machine there??? Sadly, no, we’ve had to focus all our efforts on continuing to produce our machines at accelerating rates as well as focus on our new facility. We know that's important to you and your investors and our goal is to have a Petit to show, which we've found out the best way to do it: live and on location. We have two machines in the Nashville area and are happy to invite visitors to these locations and take a peak. Reach out and let us know so we can set something up. If you can't make it to the wash sites, we will have our knowledgeable staff, lots of goodies, plenty of information, and smiles. Come check us out at booth #235.
